About Fishers Christian Academy

A Christ-centered school in Fishers, Indiana, teaching Christian values since 2011.

What is Fishers Christian Academy?

FCA is a Christ-centered private school in Fishers, Indiana, founded in 2011. Our mission is training future leaders in the BASICs to impact the world for Christ — Bible, Academics, Service, Integrity and Courage. We partner with families to nurture students spiritually, academically and socially. More about us

What grades do you serve?

Students from 4 years of age through 12th grade: Preschool PK4, Kindergarten K5, Elementary (1–6), Junior High (7–8) and High School (9–12). See all programs · Preschool & Kindergarten

Are you accredited?

Yes. FCA is a private non-public school accredited by the Indiana Department of Education through the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS), and is a member of the Indiana Association of Christian Schools (IACS). See our performance report

What curriculum do you use?

We use Abeka, a traditional Christian curriculum for PK through 12th grade. Abeka classrooms are well-organized and challenging, and their purpose is to educate students in the Bible, language, subject matter and character — character taught through consistent discipline and traditional subject matter rather than as a separate subject. Explore our curriculum

How diverse is the school?

Over twenty nationalities are represented among our faculty and students, which creates a welcoming environment where students meet a variety of cultures, perspectives and experiences. More about our community

Is FCA affiliated with a church?

Yes — FCA is a ministry of Fishers Baptist Church. Church membership is not required to enroll, and families from all backgrounds are welcome. High school applicants do have additional requirements, one of which can be met through church membership (see Admissions below).

Group two

Admissions

Enrollment for the next fall term opens in January, and every family tours the school before they enroll.

When does enrollment open?

FCA begins enrolling students in January for the next fall term. Payment of the Enrollment Fee is required to guarantee classroom space, so earlier is better — space in each classroom is limited. See the admission steps

What are the admission steps?

A completed Enrollment Form, a Financial Agreement and a school tour are required for complete enrollment. Students and families are also interviewed to establish whether FCA is the best fit for the student and whether the student is a proper addition to our student body.

In short: submit an inquiry form, schedule a tour, then submit an application.

Are the requirements different for high school?

Yes. For 9th–12th grade, in addition to our other requirements, we accept these students only if they meet one of the following:

  1. They are a member of Fishers Baptist Church and have a good Christian testimony.
  2. They are a member of another church and the pastor will verify that the student is one of their outstanding young people with a good Christian testimony.
  3. They transfer into our area from another Christian school and come with a high recommendation from their former principal.
  4. They are promoted from lower grades of our school.

Parents and/or students will be asked to give their Christian testimony to the Leadership Board, and high school students need a transcript showing courses taken and credits earned. Full requirements

What do elementary and secondary applicants need?

For K5–6 and 7–12: a parent/student interview, the Enrollment Application and Choice Voucher Application, ILearn or other achievement test scores and the most recent grades. Students may be tested for grade placement. Need records moved? See our records request page.

Do you offer an online option?

Yes. Fishers Christian Online Academy is our sister school, and the same tuition and fees apply to online enrollment.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Most families do not pay the full sticker price. Here is what brings it down.

How much is tuition?

Tuition varies by program and grade level, and most families qualify for financial aid that lowers what they pay. Call the office at (317) 577-1777 for the current tuition and fee schedule, or see financial aid options.

Is there a payment plan, and are there discounts?

Yes. Ten payments run August through May, due by the 1st of the month, with a $25 late fee after the 3rd. Annual payments made by August 1 receive a 5% tuition discount; semi-annual payments made by August 1 / January 1 receive 2%. There are no discounts for multiple children or church membership — financial aid is based on individual need and qualifications instead. Make a payment

What financial aid is available?

Indiana’s Choice Scholarship (voucher) program, the Indiana ESA program, SGO scholarships through Sagamore Institute’s Scholarships for Educational Choice, CCDF and On My Way Pre-K vouchers for preschool, and the FCA Academic and Leadership Scholarship. Aid is based on a completed Financial Aid application, and any fees above the amount of the Choice Scholarship must be funded from other sources.

Income guidelines are not published on this site — they are available from the school office. Call (317) 577-1777 or see all aid options.

Do you accept Indiana Choice vouchers or the Indiana ESA?

Both. FCA participates in the Indiana Choice Scholarship (voucher) program and is an Indiana ESA (Education Scholarship Account) school, so qualifying families can use ESA funds toward tuition and educational expenses here.

Starting May 1, 2026, age and proof of residency are the only requirements for Choice Scholarship eligibility, and families must provide the most recent documentation with their current Indiana address. Book a Choice Application Meeting and we will apply with you step by step.

Does preschool accept CCDF or On My Way Pre-K?

Yes. The FCA Preschool Program is accredited with the State of Indiana to receive CCDF and On My Way Pre-K vouchers. Apply through the state at earlyedconnect.fssa.in.gov, or read more about preschool.

What happens if we withdraw during the year?

No fees are refunded if a student withdraws from FCA. Families are responsible for the full amount of the current semester’s tuition payment, and voucher recipients who withdraw are obligated to cover any lost tuition for that semester. Read the full policy

Daily Life at FCA

Uniforms, extended care, transportation, athletics, field trips and the portal current families use every day.

Do students wear uniforms?

Yes. FCA uniforms may only be purchased from School Belles, online with our school code S2994 or at their store at 6315 N. Keystone Ave., Indianapolis. K4–12th girls wear lightweight tennis shoes (Van’s style) with black, grey, dark blue or white socks, or tights in cold months; K4–12th boys wear the same shoes with dark socks. Uniform details

How many students are in a class?

FCA offers small class sizes that allow for more individualized attention, stronger teacher-student relationships and a supportive learning environment. Classrooms run at a 1:14 teacher-to-student ratio. For current openings in the grade you are considering, call (317) 577-1777 or schedule a tour.

Is there before and after school care?

Yes, for K4 through 12th grade: early morning care 7:00–8:00 am and after school care 3:45–5:30 pm. Call the office at (317) 577-1777 for current extended care rates.

Do you provide bus transportation?

No. FCA does not provide bus transportation for pick-up or drop-off — parents must coordinate transportation with HSE School District Transportation. Extended Care hours give families some flexibility around the school day.

Do you participate in the free or reduced lunch program?

No. FCA does not participate in the Free/Reduced Lunch Program. Lunch payments and other school payments can be made through Gradelink — type what you are paying for on the invoice line. Make a payment

What sports do you offer?

Our teams are the Golden Knights, and the sports offered are volleyball and basketball. The program is administered in a Christ-centered environment that aims to enrich our students’ spiritual lives, develop their character and build their physical skills.

Season schedules, tryout dates and rosters are not published on this site. The sports calendar is maintained by the athletic director and embedded on the athletics page; for anything it does not answer, email ad@fisherschristianacademy.org.

Do you take field trips?

Yes. Field trips give students opportunities to explore new places, gain hands-on experiences and learn outside the classroom. Past destinations include the Indiana Statehouse, the Indiana State Fair, Indiana Caverns, the Creation Museum, the Air Force Museum, the Ark Encounter, Conner Prairie, the Children’s Museum and the Indianapolis Zoo. See our field trips

How do I volunteer or chaperone?

Start with the background check: all parents who wish to attend field trips, help in a classroom or volunteer at a school event must have one completed. There is a minimal fee once you receive your link by email, and background checks are good for one year. Start your background check

Where do I find grades and make payments?

Grades, attendance and school communication live in the Gradelink Parent Portal. Parents with an email address on file were sent a username and password when they enrolled or at the start of the school year, and those credentials roll over each year. If you have forgotten yours, use the “Forgot Password” link with the email the school has on file, then contact the school if you still cannot get in.

Payments — tuition, lunch, after care or any other school fee — go through the Gradelink website; on the invoice line, type what you are making the payment for. Parent Resources hub

A note on what we have not published. School office hours, summer camp dates, ages and pricing, and athletic season schedules are not listed on this website, because they change from year to year and we would rather you had the current answer than an old one. Call (317) 577-1777 and we will give you the current details — for summer camp we will send you this year’s flyer.

Still have a question?

Talk to a real person at FCA

Call the office at (317) 577-1777, send us a message, or book a tour and ask us everything in person. A tour is a required enrollment step anyway — and it is the best way to see the classrooms.
